| Description | Duikersfontein is a picturesque little village nestling amongst milkwood trees and summer daisies. Its situation next to Kleinbaai. Stories of the big White Predators were numerous and led to the establishment of the now very popular shark expeditions. These nature based tourism activities resulted on Gansbaai area becoming well known as the great white shark capital of the world. The shark diving, whale watching, Dyer and Geyser Island tours all operate from the boat launching facilities at the small but natural harbour of Kleinbaai. A tarred road connects Kleinbaai along the rugged coast with many rock pools to the lighthouse at Danger Point. Hikers can explore the beautiful coastline by using the track left in the sandstone by hundreds of fisherman's vehicles along the this stretch of coastline. A tidal pool allows for safe swimming and for the sportsman there is a golf course and a squash court.
